The iPhone app stops being a companion to the Mac and becomes the product. A golfer with a phone and a bay now gets the whole app, without owning a Mac.
The phone films a session, finds each swing by the sound of the strike, and cuts it out on its own.
Annotations on the phone are drawn, selected, moved, reshaped and deleted exactly as they are on the Mac, because both now use the same implementation.
A swing sends from the phone to the Mac over the existing pairing, and the coaching key travels with it rather than being entered twice.
Coaching reports show the fault instead of describing it. Each one leads with its own two frames — address and the position the fault was seen at — with the construction the advice refers to drawn on both.
Guide layers are built from the detected body: shoulder line, spine angle, head circle and the rest, grouped so they can be shown and hidden per scenario. They are computed from the swing rather than stored, so they improve whenever the underlying tracking does.
Compare a swing against the one before it, and mark which swing in a session was the good one.
See the whole swing as a page of stills, and reopen a report where you left it.
A practice swing is told apart from a real strike, so a practice swing loud enough to be picked up no longer takes the previous shot's numbers.
Live capture says why it declined to record instead of declining silently.
